ICU work is tough for some. Most get out with good memories and a few very tragic ones. PTSD designation is usually given those individuals who are predisposed to extreme reaction(nightmares, withdrawal, anxiety, avoidance of places or cues reminding them the events which “triggered” them..)...
Usually will debilitate sufferers...
If those in the NIH are so affected, get them out of there till they overcome it. An anxious doctor ain’t gonna’ do a good job.
