Years ago I had a 172. A good friends father was AA lines captain and a Navy pilot.
He would call me and ask to go flying when in Tulsa area.
Once we were flying around the local lakes, and he ask how many hours I flew last year. I told him about 50 PIC. His comment was, “ That’s enough to get you killed.”
As someone with previous flight training, a history of being around aircraft in my youth and a young adult, also an extensive background in heavy equipment operation to the tune of between 30,000 to 50,000 hours I would consider someone with 450 hours over 10 years to be barely qualified to be at the controls of a private aircraft, let alone a Blackhawk helicopter in congested airspace. Certainly not in night vision training. That is insane.
IMHO her connections had something to do with what went on here. I don’t know the reasoning behind this mission, but someone in the chain of command needs a severe ass kicking. We probably will never know the facts as it seems there are some connected people here. Hopefully Hegseth will find the truth and make changes. I have heard the the flightway in question has already been shut down.
