Self help author Brian Tracy said men and women are wired differently. Women alone or with other women will go on shopping trips to several stores and often come back with nothing. “I got a good idea of what’s around.” Maybe had lunch or coffee with friends. Planned future trips in their minds based on what accessories and colors are available for later decisions.
Whereas a man plans to go to a store, locate the items he needs for a practical reason and buy them and leave. If he can’t locate anything right for his planned trip he will get increasingly nervous and just grab something like a pair of socks and buy them and leave.
