'Confirm them All!'

@DefiyantlyFree

President Trump won 7 swing states, the popular vote, the Senate and the House. The American people made their voices heard. Republican senators would be wise to listen.

Only 9 cabinet appointees failed confirmation votes in American history and the last one was in 1989, John Tower.

We gave President Trump 53 seats. The fact that we have to be worried about Republicans voting yes for his cabinet is patently ridiculous

Interesting post and stat...

In my opinion I only think RFK is in trouble (but not according to betting markets). This is based on how his first hearing went (he will get not one Dem as they all went after him?) and Cassidy's recent comments. This leaves him at the whims of McConnell, Collins and the witch from Alaska

He might need the vice president like Hesgeth.

There is a lot of tough talk in the press so we'll see how it pans out. It seems a president usually gets his way although you can never underestimate the senate RINOs.

Anyone got any thoughts on this week?

Republicans control 53 seats in the Senate. When you think about it, it's absolutely absurd that any of Trump's nominees are in trouble.

It’s only because of those I mentioned and it’s hard to predict

They nearly dispatched Hesgeth so would you bet on it? I wouldn’t......

RFK Jr. is the most embattled nominee, and he is VERY popular. Sen. Cassidy is going to get himself primaried and I for one will love to see him walk out of Congress and laugh in his face if he pulls any more ****.

Cassidy doesn’t want RFK to be open to vaccinations or acknowledge some or even most vaccines are safe. He wants him to act as an anti-science, unthinking automaton and blindly declare all vaccines are safe. Only a God-damned fool would blindly declare every member of any class of objects is safe. RFK’s JOB is to make sure they are.

Tulsi: Exam went well. Confirmed.
Patel: Exam went superb. Confirmed.
RFK: Iffy. 50/50. I’m a little worried about him anyways, as a conservative.

My hope is that Cassidy will bail him out.

If not, Trump needs to give RFK his year at recess and nominate someone who is harder core.

Yes RFK will be down to a handful of the RINOs

In fact, if Freepers want and are in Maine, Kentucky, Louisiana, Alaska etc. they should probably be calling those senators

The votes should be taking place soon

Cassidy would only prove he’s bought and paid for by Pharma if he opposes RFK Jr.

As Bannon noted in an interview up on the NYTimes now (published yesterday):

“And we’re going to have some massive fights on policies because the dumb, lazy media keeps saying the Republican Party is all Trump, he controls it. He controls it because they fear him, but you scratch the surface of most of these congressmen and almost all the senators, they’re just standard stock Republicans. They’re, they’re neoliberal neocons.”

Most Republicans are Democrats.

No Democrats are Republicans.

Yep.

And pretty much all of them are to the left of what they present themselves as publicly.

I like your optimism re; Patel.
That one concerns me, in that the dems (& rinos) are scared spitless of him, what he knows, and what they know he will do about it.
He’s the best for the job, to clean house, but I’m not sure they’re going to allow it.

Cassidy is holding out for a promise that Trump won’t back a challenger. Trump should not make that deal.

The only disagreement conservatives and MAGA people have with him is about abortion. I read he has said he will honor Trump's position on this.

I believe his desire to reform some of the drug companies, to bring healthier choices to Americans, and better agricultural practices are his top goals. I don't think he'll jeopardize his relationship with Trump and start saber rattling about abortion. His MAHA priorities are most important to him.

I hope that is a correct take, and hope he gets confirmed.

The Senate RINOs are a particular bad and vintage bunch. They nearly downed Hesgeth and he’s a GOPer therefore I fret about RFK after the mauling in committee

The rest will be fine im sure despite all the talk

But even then the bettors and markets are saying Kennedy will be fine too.

So maybe we fret about nothing around here!

Get over yourself. Rfk jr brought millions to MAGA, stood on stages and explained WHY his supporters should back Trump and they did. He has absolutely earned the right to keep his promises against some phony “conservative “ whose only credentials are that they are pro life. Hasn’t ACB nomination taught you guys anything?

The idea that RFKjr is going to turn the Trump administration into an anti life pro choice admin is ridiculous. He was clear, Trump will set the policy and he will follow it.

If it makes you feel any better about RFK Jr not being conservative, here are a few selling points:

1) He literally believes that President Trump and MAGA have been the answer to his prayers - for God to put him in a position where he could help make America healthy again and safe for our children.

2) By joining Trump, he has permanently screwed any chance of ever being elected to higher office where his Leftist voice and influence might damage the Conservative Movement or threaten the MAGA agenda. Neither Democrats or Republicans will ever vote for him in large enough numbers to win a Presidential election - even if he was still interested in that path, and I believe he is not.

3) To me, he appears to be an open book, an honest man - passionate against government corruption, war-mongering, conflict of interest, censorship or coercion -passionately fighting for government accountability to the people. He will take his oath to uphold the Constitution seriously. These are conservative values that transcend the issues of the day. I believe poisonous Leftist biases on abortion, transgender, minimum wage, gun control, wealth redistribution, etc.. - will resolve themselves if accountability to the people and to the constitution are restored. Leftists like RFK Jr are good for Conservatism.

IMHO
