My father could yodel❣️ He sounded so much like Jimmie Rodgers that when the preacher played a snippet of JR’s yodeling at the conclusion of Papa’s memorial service, folks thought it was Papa. - We were unable to locate a home recording of Papa doing his yodel, but I knew that he taught himself by listening to Jimmie Rodgers songs.
