Not sure about Brave, which I really like. But it won’t install on my Win 7 system for some reason. It’s fine on my Win 10.

Correct. In order to use Brave, you need Windows 10 or later to install it from scratch. I think it will continue to run if it was already installed on Windows 7, but it won’t allow updates.
