‘It’s On Him!’ Dem Rep Points Finger at Trump on Deadly Plane Crashes: ‘He Better Take Responsibility’

President Donald Trump should “take responsibility” on last week’s horrific fatal plane crashes, said former Army Lt. Colonel and Virginia Democrat Rep. Eugene Vindman on MSNBC.

On the latest Last Word from MSNBC, Ali Velshi spoke with Vindman, twin brother of former Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, about the latest Trump news, starting with the tragic and terrible mid-air collision between an Army Blackhawk helicopter and a commercial airliner in D.C. in which 67 people died.

“There is no warm-up period for the president of the United States,” Vindman said. “If he wants to take responsibility for a raft of illegal executive orders, he better take responsibility for being the president and being in charge when a plane goes down in Washington, D.C., and it’s as simple as that.”

Trump and allies make more moves to wrest control of USAID

Washington Post

February 3, 2025

Article Excerpt: Voorhees was put on leave after he did not allow officials from the “Department of Government Efficiency” to access a sensitive compartmented information facility — commonly known as a SCIF — an ultra-secure room where officials and government contractors take extraordinary precautions to review highly classified information, according to three current and former USAID officials.

ransomnote: The media is hiding the fact that 25% of USAID given foreign countries is spent on weapons/defense; the MSM is framing the story as if Trump is agressively denying women and children drinking water, food etc. (Humanitarian aid)

SO when the reader comes across talk of USAID's classified information secured in their SCIF, the public wants to know what kind of classified information could there be when the topic is food deliveries etc. Further, if it's food, and in the case of Ukraine, firewood, then why can't Musk's people be allowed in?

Notice in Wiki's definition below, SCIFs are related to military, national security/national defense and intelligence parlance. Methinks USAID was overly 'active' in those realms, yet the MSM simply rattles on about the Trump administration denying orphans clothing/food/heat/light/water. And surely USAID officials wouldn't want to talk about giving 10% to the 'Big Guy', and shipping crates of cash to other despots around the world, while chatting at the water cooler.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sensitive_compartmented_information_facility

A sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF / s k ɪ f /), in United States military, national security/national defense and intelligence parlance, is an enclosed area within a building that is used to process sensitive compartmented information (SCI) types of classified information.

Musk says he, Trump in process of closing US Agency for International Development
Trump has not confirmed that the agency is being shut down

Billionaire Entrepreneur Elon Musk, now in charge of the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency, said Monday that he and President Donald Trump are going to shutter the United States Agency for International Development.

“We’re shutting it down,” he reportedly said in an audio conversation on X Spaces, part of the social media platform X. “With regards to the USAID stuff, I went over it with (the president) in detail and he agreed that we should shut it down.”

In addition, Musk wrote on X: “We spent the weekend feeding USAID into the wood chipper.”
