Using either/both hands is one of the things I’m sort of expert at. If I can do a thing with one hand I can also do it with the other. Most folks, by far, and going back to the first guy, are one-handed. I’ve long thot that the format of written language was mostly determined by the “hand” of the scribbler. They wrote with the hand, tool, and position they were comfy with. Going clear back to cuniform it’s easy to see a “hand” was involved.

Do you know anyone who can use a fork with either hand? Just my ambybits.

😯 I am not ambidextrous... I am getting to where I can do some things with one hand - but mostly drop things on the floor ⤵ With my bad back I told my son that I am going to just move to the floor.

We were only discussing textual writing that is written and read from the right towards the left {e.g.: Hebrew} or - like English - written and read from the left towards the right.
