I was able to watch one plane spraying overhead and saw them cut off the chem trail entirely… that’s not how CONtrails work. … unless you’ve lost power to the engine! I also attempted to pull that plane up on FlightRadar, but they were not transponding.

There is another circumstance when a Contrail can disappear briefly. I see it here at the shop occasionally. The jet stream moves from north to south of where the shop is and when the jet stream is near the shop and a jet at 30,000 plus feet flies thru it the contrail can bend or even disappear for the approximate width of the stream. I always know when the stream is nearby since the weather can be totally different from one end of the farm to the other.
It’s odd how the weather genius guys can never quite mention where the jet stream is-—even tho it explains a lot as to what the local weather might be doing in any particular spot?
