It may take them a while but eventually you'll see politicians who are like Bill Clinton taking charge of the Democratic Party. So they'll have to push the "Progressives" to the sidelines for the time being.
The recent candidate selections that the Democrats put up in the last two elections seem to be the most incompetent people available. Even going back to Obama, he was a candidate with no experience and no skills other than reading a TelePrompTer stiffly.
Even the primary candidates seem to have been self selected to be losers.
Amyone with competence seems to shy away from running.
