I can’t understand why cynical people post on a Conservative American forum, a site whose members have hope for the future.
Same here.. before today, never heard of this individual.

That is all the TDSers, trolls, and Zeepers seem to enjoy doing.<<<<
IMHO, some of them are getting paid to do it.
Thank you for your response. As the grandchild, great grandchild and husband of immigrants, I appreciate your attitude. I don’t think that the vast majority of Americans would have any problems whatsoever with immigration if virtually all immigrants shared your attitude and behavior. After all, most of us are descended from immigrants. But having seen what my wife had to go through in order to get her green card and become a citizen, I have a great deal of animosity toward those who cut the line in front of every other legal immigrant, and who think that we owe them something, including some kind of welfare benefits, in addition to allowing them to live in this country. They are owed nothing but what they earn based on their behavior.
Pinging you as the OP forgot to.
Unlike Jaysin in Israel I am in America, a 20-year active duty retired veteran, and unlike him, I do not serve a different nation.
It is I who is grateful for your friendly, kind words towards me 😀
And, while I am not an American and no immigrant to America myself, it really grinds my gears when many immigrants flout the laws of America and cut in line by simply coming in, uninvited, not trying to assimilate and making a general nuisance of themselves.
Bit I absolutely agree with what you said about legal, law-abiding and hardworking immigrants who struggle and strive to become good Americans. They really are an asset, and it seems to me that we really agree on both of these points 🙂
I am also sorry that your wife had so much trouble with the bureaucracy in order to join you in America.
I remember reading on the blog of a certain Mr. Brickley from New Hampshire (iirc) how many legal hoops he had to jump through in order to get his bride from China to the USA, and I felt for them, too (www.angry.net).
You see, I am a historian, and once I held a lecture on the genesis and formation of the American people, so I did my best to familiarize myself with US immigration laws throughout history. I found it all very fascinating, both the course of American immigration history and the legal framework of it all.🙂
Maybe the INS and its successor agencies are keeping a very strict watch over immigrant spouses of Americans, because these are allowed to come in without any numerical limitations.
Just a thought…and maybe there once were a significant number of sham marriages (the 1990 film „Green Card“ by Peter Weir deals with this theme). But a huge annoyance nonetheless 🙁
Thus I can frankly say that I would be, if I were an American or resident in America, very much in favor of overhauling America‘s immigration system from top to bottom. Definitely, I would not be alone in this 🙂
So you support Trump violating the First Amendment?
