The way Robinson speaks about Islam is entirely warranted, I get the distinct impression that the British establishment is at war with him, and the fact that he has a long criminal record means nothing in the age of lawfare - he's a political prisoner.

My estimation of Farage continues to plunge - this guy is the British equivalent of the establishment GOP do-nothings here. All talk, no accomplishments.

Tommy may be 100% correct when it comes to the religion of Islam, but Reform has Muslims within the party, including its own treasurer, and many other Reform members know Muslims who are perfectly good people who either don’t take their religion seriously or cherry-pick the bits they like as many religious people often do.

It will turn off a lot of Reform voters if they bring on board a man who gives off the impression that he hates Muslims in general.

Farage has built the party to where it is by being utterly ruthless with elements that want to make it genuinely racist or far right to make it ‘respectable’ in the eyes of average Britons.

Going hard after Islam or Muslims in general is not going to play well with the electorate, regardless of how fed up they are with grooming gangs, Islamic extremism and illegal immigration.

You might notice that Donald Trump hasn’t gone after Islam as a religion or Muslims, and has even courted their vote.

Its a vote loser to look like you are going after an entire demographic of citizens rather than insisting on individuals being held accountable.
