Same! 30 plus years DON. I had been planning on going out next month at 62, but then we bought a retirement home outside California last month. I am still at our California home, working, and have no issues going into the office once the logistics are figured out.

I had hoped my remote agreement would tide me over til the end of the year, when I would retire, allowing me to work remotely from our new home in Arkansas starting in June after we put the CA house on the market.

When President Trump announced the return to work policy last week, I figured..well, it has been a good run (remote work), and I am eligible to retire, so I'll go out in June.

This new 'Fork in the Road" email (which I've yet to receive) actually makes it easier...it allows those who accept to continue to remote work until the resignation date of Sept 30.

I do have co-workers who were granted permission to remote work during and after COVID, and moved out of state (to Utah, Missouri, Georgia, Arizona--in all cases, they had to accept the lower salary for approval to be granted)..only one of those is eligible to retire. I expect one to be granted a medical exception.
