President Trump’s nominees for Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and Director of the FBI will be facing confirmation hearings in the U.S. Senate this week.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is expected to face sharp questioning over his nomination to head the Dept. of Health & Human Services because of his skepticism toward the effectiveness of the federal food and medicine regulatory apparatus.
In particular, large numbers of employees of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have been preparing their letters of resignation for the past two months and say they will quit if RFK Jr. is confirmed as HHS Secretary.
Jessica Malaty Rivera is an advisor with the Debeaumont Foundation, she says she’s aware of “multiple employees” with agencies like the CDC who she says, “They refuse to work for this administration,” she says. “I understand it, but it’s terrifying. Because we don’t want to be in the position where everyone working at these agencies is anti-medicine, anti-science.”
As Secretary of HHS, Kennedy would have broad authority to oversee the operations of the CDC, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Food and Drug Administration.
Kennedy has faced criticism over his concerns regarding vaccine safety and for his book “The Real Anthony Fauci” which tracks the career path of the man who became the public face of the federal Covid response.
However, Kennedy has also attracted support from former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield who has recently partnered with him on evaluating the efficacy and safety of vaccines.
The threat of potentially hundreds of CDC employees quitting their jobs underscores the seriousness with which the Trump administration is going about correcting the mistakes of the previous administration.
Who needs employees who spend two months composing one letter? Calling DoGE.
But it’s on principle so they are noble.
Isn’t that pretty much the objective?

Pfizer and MurdeRNA wanted these people working for the government so Pfizer and MurdeRNA could avoid liability for their crimes. These people are a liability other employers.

Kennedy is a leftist lawyer.
At most he should get FDA or NIH.
In those cases, his desire for food & pharmaceutical safety and his desire to combat autism outweigh his flaws.

These dishonest folks who say that RFKjr is anti-medicine and anti-science are being dishonest and not being scientific themselves. A real scientist will keep an open mind and be willing to back up their claims (or abandon them if proven wrong) with solid cross-examined evidence.
If a lot of people quit the government because they don’t want to work for RFKjr then that’s fine. Having 10,000 government workers quit because they don’t like him is somewhat ok. It would be better though if the number is over 20,000, but 10,000 is a good start.
Shhhhh, its cheaper for taxpayers if they just quit.

These govt robots know how lucky they are and are not going anywhere. RFKJ will have to fire them if they don’t quit. Clean slate day one would be nice.
