Isabella Maria DeLuca, 24, is a social media influencer originally from Setauket, NY, who went to the Capitol in Washington DC on Jan. 6, 2021.
She attended President Trump’s rally and then followed the crowd into the Capitol that fateful day. She says she stayed only two minutes before deciding to leave as she started to feel uncomfortable.
However, those two minutes turned out to be life-changing, and not in a good way. Three years later she was arrested on federal misdemeanor charges — including theft of government property, disorderly conduct, and entering a restricted area — in March 2024.

DeLuca, who has a significant social media following, was accused of storming the Capitol and helping pass a stolen table out a broken window during the ordeal, according to court records.
The table, which was taken from a Senate terrace room, was later used to attack law enforcement, the feds alleged. DeLuca, along with the more than 1,500 Capitol Hill rioters, were pardoned by President Trump last week.

Not guilty with prejudice
From some of the visuals I have seen of the event, there were Antifa people inside the Capitol on January 6th. Any of those been prosecuted?
We just found out this week that one of the last J-6ers arrested was my son-in-law’s Uncle. He was “spoken to” by the FBI while on a cruise with his family. He got lawyered up and turned himself in the week before the inauguration. Spent 3 days in local lockup, received a pardon & was released.
He never went into the Capitol on Jan 6th; he was standing along the sidewalk with a group of people holding flags and signs, not yelling, not being aggressive.
A group of full-gear Police (Capitol?) started walking down the line with shields and batons, hitting people and pushing them, yelling, trying to force them to disperse. One of them approached and raised his baton to strike an elderly man wearing a Veterans’ cap...
at this point Uncle “Doe” (let’s call him) who is a large, relatively fit man put up his arm to stop the baton-wielder and said “you’re not going to hit this man”. He was then shoved & pepper-sprayed after which he had to leave the area to clear his eyes and then make his way home.
This ties in with several reports I have read that said there were groups of “cops” purposely trying to create a violent response from people who were simply in the area, doing nothing wrong, not escalating the situation in any way. These people left when things started to get ugly and dangerous, some warning others not to go further, just go home.
I have always been pro-law enforcement, but this situation was so wrong, and what was done to these innocent people is unforgivable. (and it certainly does seem pre-planned and “helped” by questionable actors, especially in retrospect)
