No, we just recognize it sooner.
I have experienced significant cognitive decline since the onset of COVID-related novel seizures. It takes me about 24 hours to recover when one hits. Never had them before being exposed.
Information that used to be readily available at my fingertips I now struggle to recall. Ironically, the field where my company regards me as a subject-matter expert is still in there, and I can recall specific sections of state code, chapter and verse, even hours after a seizure. Just don’t ask me who the new client is that I talked to; I will need to check my notes.
It’s frightening for someone who built a career on their brainpower to watch it slowly fading away. I used to be able to crank out pages to detailed reports and write articles with no effort.
My latest report took me three solid days to compile and I was only going over 167 pages of data to summarize. The attorney still gave it a big thumbs up and stated he could win for my client based on what I presented, but it was a painful slog.
Thanks, Fauci, may you rot in hell.
Your post sounds extremely cogent and articulate. You are probably being very hard on yourself. I find it interesting that they equate ‘education’ with cleverness/intelligence. There is no true correlation. Some of the most intelligent people I have ever known are only high school graduates.
