Thank you for the Danish military tally. As the citation notes, Denmark can "continually deploy 2,000 soldiers in international service or 5,000 over a short time span."

Awe-inspiring. "Tooth to tail" calculations suggest that only a portion of those dispatched would be combat efficient.

Your other comment that China might try to "belt and road" Greenland is apt. But a notion that Greenland can be defended by Denmark is a bit of good humor for the day.
