He’s too shallow, an actor, invented persona. He’s not alone and these actors come in all shapes and sizes. Wannabes who dupe millions. It’s a “wanting” and it might even be pathological. A self contrived simulation.
Another example would be Bob Dylan who several artists over the years have claimed him to be a contrived simulation. A type of Woody Guthrie.
Humans are warped like that, maybe too much time in front of the mirror. Envy? Pride?
