Get rid of “Good Cause/Just Cause” Eviction
Permanently ban any and all Eviction Moratoriums such as is now being proposed in Albany NY (no Winter Evictions)
Bring back the 3 day notice or quit (not 14 days)
Defund orgs like Legal Aid (Legal Enabling)
Roll back limits on security deposits
Put back all tenant notifications to 30 days not up to 90 days
Speed up all evictions and ban “Cash for Keys” (extortion)
unseal all eviction records
make it legal to screen on:
criminal records
eviction records
credit score
landlord references
(yes these are all banned in BLUE states)
Outlaw Emotional Support Animals. Only true service animals that perform a task should be allowed.
Get rid of squatters rights
Bring back personal responsibility in the tenant (and all) communities.
