Here are some calculations based on the following: radius of earth=4000 miles, 71% of earth is covered in oceans, and average depth of oceans=3 miles, all water in the oceans could be packed in a ball with a radius of about 470 miles. The fresh water (lakes and rivers) ball would be much, much smaller. The pics look about right to me.

Seems about right to me as well.

My “Are you sure?” question was sarcastic/rhetorical, and was directed toward the FReeper who said the small sphere was “obviously” not correct.
