I doubt any of the three Kristens (paramedics all) have any actual experience fighting a real fire or even “leading” real firefighters on a fire field.

I have thought of that. Imagine that you are a firefighter for LAFD. Maybe you have a Masters degree in firefighting. You have had your share of putting out fires, saving buildings, and saving lives. But you can NEVER be the Chief because you aren’t a fat lesbian.
