The issue is foreign control of the data. That’s a bit different. Might feds abuse the decision? Absolutely. But let’s describe it accurately.

I think they are equally dangerous—total coin flip.
Congress refuses to help us deal with the second threat.
The hypocrisy on this issue is kinda obvious.
