Dumps? I love the White House. Am not familiar with the VP’s residence. But I love tradition.
The Naval Observatory is beautiful on the outside. I wouldn’t decline the WH, either if someone offered it to me. Of course, my lovely little house is only 800 square feet so that may be coloring my opinion!
compared to a nice modern home, the white house is a dilapidated dump in my opinion.
