One time my dad had us walk to school because even though it was snowing he did not trust the roads, even with snow chains on his tires; felt we were safer walking. I just remember as a second grader that it was cool walking down sidewalks with snow banked to either side much higher than I was tall. It was an outing, not a hardship.

The town has received 116 inches, close to 10 feet of snow, this winter.

I'm guessing there's a lot people wishing this Global Warming stuff would hurry up and kick in.
