They can’t recreate epigenetics.

It is common knowledge that things like maternal stress, nutrient consumption and gut bacteria can have drastic effects on the health and outcome of human infants.

How much more drastic would the changes be to a genetic mammoth growing inside the womb of animal of a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SPECIES?

Growing a human inside the womb of a monkey would not produce anything that resembles either a “human” or a “monkey”.
