Don’t members of Congress have immunity for their official actions? Some staffers might be afraid, but the Congress members already have a free ride. Perhaps this is a red herring issue.

I probably should whisper this—but their staffers have no immunity from anything.
They should serve long prison sentences for treason—regardless of what happens to their bosses.
