I watched a Perry Mason episode last night where a man who thought that a child being raised by his dead son’s widow was his grandson, but it was revealed that the boy was actually her unmarried friend’s child who had been murdered. Perry decided at the end of the show not to tell him, and my first thought was what might happen in 20 years or so if the kid has his DNA tested.
