A yearly or biyearly medical report including a psych evaluation to be shared with some sort of bipartisan committee?
Problem is how does one keep that power from being used as a tool to eliminate the opposition?
Our founding fathers built a system that would self correct. That was in a time that Thomas Jefferson wrote of spending 4 days just traveling to Washington from Monticello. But I doubt they could foresee a future with ICBMs that are controlled by the POTUS. That he/she might have to make a decision in minutes whether or not to use them that could literally end civilization.
