That damage could be repaired quickly and easily unless it punched into a fuel tank in the wing. If such one would need to take some skin off the wing to repair internal damage.

Apparently the crew of the plane wasn’t even aware they’d struck the drone. Those Super Scoopers are quite ruggedly built planes. But, yeah, even so, the wing would have to be checked carefully for any internal damage. Could a loose piece or pieces of the drone inside the wing interfere with any control mechanisms?
