State funerals are largely a somber affair, but an interaction between former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush on Thursday has taken the internet by storm.
Both former presidents were seated in the second row for the funeral of former President Jimmy Carter at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC.
Video showed both U.S. leaders arriving for the event where Bush greeted Obama in a way that had the internet screaming 'bromance.'
Obama was the first to enter the shot where he greeted the former vice presidents in the row behind him before taking his seat next to President-elect Trump.
When Bush shows up to enter the row, Obama stands up to let him and former First Lady Laura Bush pass.
That's when Bush gave his successor a friendly tap on the stomach before the couple took their seats to Obama's left.
The playful moment did not go unnoticed by people watching coverage of the gathering of some of the world's current and past most powerful U.S. leaders.

Elections are binary, and when a member of the Bush crime family ever wins a presidential election it is always a win for the lesser of two evils.

If Al Gore had won in 2000 and 2004, Vice President Lieberman would have likely been the Democrat candidate in 2008 and then again in 2012 had he won the 2008 election. We might have been spared Obama or seen Obama face Trump in 2016.
In addition McCain would likely have been the GOP candidate in 2004 if Gore had won in 2000, and assuming McCain lost, someone else would have been the GOP candidate in 2008. Romney perhaps. Arguably Lieberman would have been a better president than McCain or Romney.
Thank Ralph Nader for George W. Bush being elected POTUS in 2000 instead of Al Gore. Nader won 97,488 voted in Florida in 2000. Bush beat Gore by less than 600 votes in the final Florida tally. Had Nader not been on the ballot. most of his supporters would likely have voted for Gore or stayed home. It is logical Gore would have captured at least 600 of the 97,488 Nader votes in Florida, thereby winning Florida’s 25 electoral votes and the election.
Is there a bigger scumbag than George W. Bush? I don’t think so.
