Even worse than my experiece on a flight to London... I awoke to the smell of Conch permeating my seat and me. It seems that some British tourists has bought conch shells to bring home from the Bahamas and stored them in the compartment over my seat. Arriving at Heathrow at about 8AM, I reeked of the odor for many hours and could do nothing about it since my hotel room was not available until 3PM. I threw my clothes down the garbage chute at the hotel after a long, hot bath!

How can conches in the overhead luggage bin make you smell like conch? Just wondering and am surprised the smell was so strong that it stuck to you.
