I think that Trump’s pressure made Trudeau vulnerable by signaling that the government will soon be put to a severe test. I find it hard to imagine that, without that vulnerability, Trudeau’s finance minister would act like a bartender who suddenly renounces alcohol as evil by having an attack of conscience about handing out public cash to bolster her government’s political standing. After all, looting the Treasury for the sake of friends is a large part of what the Liberals are about.

Finance was her responsivity
I would like to think that she took a stand with conviction, and when pressed, said the right thing
