Over here in southern Ohio we will be getting up to 10 inches of snow.
Just south of here they may get a half inch of ice (and less snow)
The power could be going out and the snow will stick around for days. Schools are already closed for tomorrow.
I am thankful for great grandkids at a time like this. They are thankful I live on top a hill and have several old style roll-up plastic sleds.
Be safe
Do you have a rope tow installed?
How do they get to the top of the hill?
🙄
We have a gentle slope in our backyard, that we call Old Fogey Hill when conditions are right for sledding. We can’t use it every year because the accumulation isn’t always right, but last year, it was perfect a couple of times. Our neighbors thought we had kids over with the shouts of glee. Nope, just the two of us! (We wish the grands were closer, so we sent video of how much fun we had, to hopefully entice them to move closer.)
I’m ready to test out the new sleds we got at Christmas. Our old ones finally cracked last year after several years of use. Fingers crossed…
