I’ve been in DC doing business during a winter “storm” of three inches of snow. Although the roads were cleared in eight hours, nobody came to work for a week. The malls, shopping outlets, restaurants, were packed with patrons however.....

Don’t 85 percent of government employees still working from home?

Snow outside should not be an issue unless there’s a power outage.

I flew into BWI once for a quick in and out business meeting. My plane was the last one in before they closed the airport. It was a sudden snowstorm nobody thought was going to happen. It was already a mess by the time I got to the front doors. My ride was an hour late picking me up and they were getting ready to close the building where the meeting was being held.

I spent about 45 minutes with my client and he had to start home so fortunately he was part owner of the Marriott nearby and booked me in and told me told me to enjoy everything on the house. I had no luggage nada and my sister and BIL who lived in Annapolis could not get to me. So I just stayed in my hotel room enjoyed room service and watched it snow. Got flight back out to Atlanta the next morning.
