I always had trouble making friends with people who wanted to call me names, steal my stuff and/or kill me.

I worked around lots of insufferable liberals (don’t ask) and most of them view conservatives with unabiding contempt. You see, liberals view themselves as morally and intellectually superior to the unwashed masses so anyone outside their tribe is flawed, ignorant and obtuse. Only they are the enlightened ones.
