I had a close friend who had cerebral palsy. He was unable to walk and his mother was totally devoted to his care her entire life. She was a tiny woman who had emphysema, cancer etc and finally passed away when she was ninety. At home, in bed. Several months later my friend sold his mother’s bedroom suite to a friend of a friend. A number of months later the guy who bought the furniture said that he was awoken a number of times by a soft rapping on the headboard of the bed. Once he said he saw a vision of a tiny old woman. He said he asked her what happened and she put her hand over her chest. I don’t know more than that except to say if ever there was a person who didn’t want to leave, it would be my friend’s mother.

Whenever we have pain, sorrow, suffering or grief we know we can trust God Almighty to make things right. He created everything, we did wrong against him, and he gave us the way to make things right again.

See Genesis 1:1, Genesis 3, Romans 8:28, 1 Corinthians 15:1-8.
