So is Mallory’s Le Morte d’Arthur.

Excalibur is my favorite cinematic iteration of Arthur and I believe Nicol’s “Merlin” was more legit than that other guy.

Loved that one as well as T.H. White’s “Once and Future King.”

Marion Zimmer Bradley’s “Mists of Avalon” is also good. It’s from yet another angle.
