My job was at a US Navy aviation maintenance facility.......how the work that came out of that place never killed any air crew still amazes me to this day....and I’m not even exaggerating.
Said that many times. Sometimes it applies to me.
“The amazing thing is not that it is so screwed up, the amazing thing is that it works at all.”
We had a saying at my facility:
“20% of people that actually know what the hell they are doing, doing all the work and pulling a wagon with the other useless 80% that aren’t doing a damned thing.”
That’s the nly way it works at all snd is the whole problem with federal government employees in a nutshell.
