I have been reading a book about this since my childhood. It perfectly describes the beginning of the heavens and the Earth in the start of chapter 1.

Perfectly, perhaps, but in not much detail. That’s not its purpose anyway, any more than a book on gardening is expected to tell you how a lawn mower engine works.
