That would mean 43 Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives would be GONE, giving House Republicans a HUGE majority! AND if California secedes, the next Democrat presidential candidate would lose California’s 54 electoral college votes.

Unfortunately it would cost us huge (military) access to the Pacific Ocean. If the loonies that run Oregon and Washington followed suit, we would have a civil war.
Let ‘em secede. The very next day, the military can attack and drive all the commies into the Pacific Ocean. It’ll make Sherman’s March look like a summer camp fire.
There’s a problem with that in that the Secretary of State for California is ignoring the eastern counties of California that want to break away from the rest of California and form their own state.
This movement has been going on before FJB. But all search engines, even Brave, ignore this and only have links to this current idea implying that the entire state of California wants to form their own ‘country’.
