I missed the report where the 51 lost their pensions too. Don’t their pensions flow from their time on the job and contributions? I thought a government pension could only be ended after being fired and convicted of any of the following:
Harboring or concealing persons
Espionage
Giving defense information to a foreign government
Rebellion
Treason
Perjury in a federal court
Recruitment to serve against the U.S.
