This week a Federal Appeals court is scheduled to consider if plea deals brokered at Guantanamo Bay for three 9/11 defendants are binding contracts.
In exchange for admitting to the terrorist attack, they would be spared the possibility of the death penalty.
Yamashiro was at the military hearings this week.
