You couldn’t know what weird thoughts go on in people’s minds while reading your posts and I know your intentions are only good. I definitely missed an opportunity to meme my Dad off the internet. I didn’t participate in ANY social media until I signed up here in May 2020 after lurking on FR for 20 years. The Q threads captured my spirit, imagination and hunger for information exchange, and the memes were plentiful on the threads. My Dad died on May 4 and I think I joined here the next day or a very short time later. (I think those two events were unrelated.) Oh how I wish he were still alive, for many reasons. A big one would be the memes I’d throw at him daily with the hope that he’d magically turn back into the steady, clear-thinking conservative father who raised me, from the bleeding-heart squish who suddenly appeared years after I moved away. I think I needed to supervise him better 😁
We are all the better off to have your Spirit caught by the pursuit of truth.
