"The Party" is one of those films that - to me - suffers from fillers in the last half, but much of it is still quite funny after all these years. The first time I saw it, I had just turned on the television and was going through the channels when the column of British soldiers were passing through the gully and had no idea what it was. I thought it was going to be some sort of historical fiction movie until... well, I won't ruin it.
