***The cost to the budget for testing fire hydrants is minimal. I mean, the employees are already on the clock, so there’s no wage increase involved. It’s a matter of how much fuel they use in the truck driving from one fire hydrant to another, opening and flushing for a couple of minutes, and then closing the valve, caps, and moving on to the next one.

Maybe they can install a little TV screen in the fire trucks and get constant DEI training as they drive out to test hydrants, and head off to fight fires. A little last minute reminder that whitey must be the last one saved, and norms are the enemy of democRATS of undetermined gender.
