O Canada has been rewritten more than once to make it more PC, so now it sounds like an Allan Sherman parody. Now it’s half French, a third Inuit and some evil English. I’d sing it, but I’m just not Inuit anymore, what with the state of the once great White North.
I’m kinda partial to “God Bless America” or “America the Beautiful” for our mutual anthem. They focus more on the country itself than merely on a symbol of it, however important that may be.
