Past few years been asleep prior to Midnight. Might be up later. Past few days with a drought on internet connections I started rewatching Game of Thrones

. Saw first 4 years when they came out on HBO

read all books (6) but George Martin had not yet written final concluding book. He took his time much to the chagrin of his fans. I took the four season DVDs to my brothers in OK one winter. He poo-pooed watching it. I pleaded for him to watch just one. The first episode - the first year and then pass judgement on it.

He reluctantly agreed. Well he and his wife sat that PM and watched 6 episodes! Yeah he liked it

When I saw bro this fall he gave me a shoe box with Blu Ray 6 seasons I think he passed on the original 4 movies to his daughter I’ll get last two seasons in next few months

Those with Netflex and so many other offerings aren’t really interested in discs for most part

Well so that’s my whoopie for New Years Eve

Good news for 2025...he is out of ER...survived 2 operations, and is now in re-hab...recovering well.... should be good by June 25.

I believe Judy found it hard to believe that Elon was charged 2000/ night.

My idea is they probably discussed it. He did not want to charge him. Elon insisted for many reasons and so it was win-win.

That’s my take as well. It’s worth keeping in mind that Elon is supposedly the richest man in the world. Additionally, I’m not sure that $2,000 per day is really all that exorbitant for a luxury property of that caliber. That’s definitely outside my area of knowledge, but it might not be as excessive as it sounds to us non-billionaires. Also, if the cottage is rented out on a regular basis, then it would make sense for Elon to pay something to Trump to cover the lost income.
