I used to suck it up with the derogatory language directed at me by the Zeepers (sometimes responding in kind, but it didn’t help), now I report it each time (and there have been results) - that seems to be the only way to deal with people who are unable to simply discuss issues in a civilized manner.
My personal theory is that, in many cases, the people I argue against regarding Ukraine actually hate conservatives and would rather not be here*, or they wouldn’t treat people who disagree with them with such a level of disdain - as, in the real world, I almost universally see those kinds of attacks coming from Leftists.
*as to why they’re here, anyone is welcome to guess at that
That's a funny post from a guy who actively attacks any pro-Ukraine poster, and frequently somehow seems to adopt the same opinion and talking points as Russian government propagandists.
You couldn't even post on this thread, which has nothing to do with Ukraine, without attacking the members of Free Republic who are in favor of helping Ukraine defeat Russia's invasion.
There are plenty of people who are conservatives who don't like the idea of Russia invading its neighbors, or Russian soldiers killing civilians, or Russia's threats and aggression against NATO states.
Because there is little more satisfying than distorting the facts to support your own predetermined conclusions.
