Sundance is off the mark here.
Vivek and Musk, if you look at what they are actually advocating, are not even close to advocating H1B fraud.
Vivek had advocated for reform of the H1B system before this election. Elon Musk is advocating for bringing in the best talent on the planet, as we have always done.
I stopped reading sundance years ago. He is never right in his bombastic screeds and at times he left me wondering which side he is on. Take the article, he totally misrepresents the issue and what Musk supports.
Sundance is an agitator and untrustworthy. His lies about DeSantis during the primary were egregious.
You are correct that Musk and Trump agree on the H1B system and its need for correction, the need to ONLY bring the best here and the need to start developing citizens with these types of degrees right here at home.
There is no split.

The whole program as it is is fraudulent in that it allows (and requires) employers to claim no American can be found to do technical work. There might be just 100 openings per year wherein only a foreigner can do the job.
