If they don’t immediately placate the family which is black, they will be accused of racism, and everyone knows that being accused of racism is the worst thing that can ever happen to the police /s

Society is scared out of their minds of being called racist. That child will perhaps not survive if the child is placed back with the family, but at least the police won’t be accused of racism , again /s
